Honey Bee

Honey Bee is an abstract piece about independence, movement and trusting your own direction.

Inspired by something incredibly small that has an extraordinary impact, the honey bee becomes a reminder that significance isn't always obvious. A single bee may seem insignificant yet the work it carries out helps sustain entire ecosystems. In the same way, the smallest choices, actions and steps we take can shape something far greater than we realise.

The piece is built through layers of colour, texture and instinctive marks. The freedom within the composition reflects movement without a fixed path. Some marks are bold, others almost disappear beneath the next layer, mirroring the way individual moments in our lives can feel insignificant until we look back and see how far we have come.

At its heart, Honey Bee is about trusting that what you do matters.
